what are your extensions and plugins?

mine are: 2 language correctors (portuguese and english), firebug, flashgot, greasemonkey, scrapbook+, tab mix plus
plugins are: google update, java se 6 u7 (i hope its the latest muhahahha), mozilla default plug-in, quicktime plugin 7.6 and shockwave flash

and i'm using firefox 3.0.11 (now that the 3.5 RC is here, i'm just waiting for all my extensions to be compatible to make the "transition" hehehe)

hummmmmmm well i dont know why you need avg safe search and net framework assistant as well as shockwave director, windows genuine advantage and windows presentation foundation (all of these are pretty much useless and just bloat for your firefox, you can uninstall/disable these without any problem), also the veoh stuff kinda sucks, but that shouldnt affect anything... hehehehe

but i dont think any would influence the picture showing, mostly cause the picture is hardcoded, so its not being pulled from somewhere with javascript or any function and its not being pulled from css, those would be more likely to break... so its kinda getting to be a mystery, have you tried other browsers to see if the picture shows?

well because i design sites i "have" to use at least 1 browser from each of the major browser web frameworks hehehe

webkit > google chrome
gekko > firefox
can't remeber the one ie uses hehehe word2007 hahaah > ie 7 (ie 8 is still a bit buggy and resource hog on my side)
opera framework > opera

this way i can be pretty sure if the sites work in 98% of all the browsers in the world hehehe, and yeah nanu i wouldnt recommend ie as well, even if ie 7 and 8 are WAYYYY better, still why give more money to microsoft heheheh (they still treat their customers like shit)

but well if it works ok in ie, then it means its not a firewall/computer/web connection/proxy etc error, its really a browser thing... that helps narrow it down, have you tried disabling every plugin and trying to see if it works?

also you can try the latest firefox RC 3.5, just check to see if your latest extensions and plugins are compatible, if all of them are, you should upgrade sooner, or if you want to try first, you can install a portable version (it runs from a folder, doesnt affect at all your version, so you can run firefox from a usb pen) try here http://portableapps.com/apps/internet/firefox_portable/test
